Legal & General (L&G) has today launched ‘Spark’, in partnership with Spectrum.Life, to display the health & wellbeing services offered to its group customers on one platform.
Spark is accessible via phone, laptop, or desktop and has been designed to make preventative health & wellbeing “simple, personalised, and inclusive.” The app also includes guided navigation through an intelligent booking system, MatchTech, which assesses symptoms.
Furthermore, Spark has prompted the addition of two new pathways for heart health and menopause to the long-term condition support provided by CONNECTPlus, from HCI.
“I’m excited to introduce Spark to the market. It’s a comprehensive one-stop shop that uses the latest user journey guidance technology to get people to the services they need, fast and effectively. This will bring positive benefits to everyone,” explained James Walker, head of product & proposition for group protection at L&G.
He said: “For individuals, helping empower them to further manage their health & wellbeing. For employers, helping reduce absence and presenteeism while improving satisfaction. For the government, helping to support the latest ‘Keep Britain Working’ goals. And for society, improving health outcomes and reducing the pressure on public health services.”
Stephen Costello, co-founder & CEO of Spectrum.Life, added: “We’re not just improving access to healthcare – we’re rebuilding it for the way people live and work today. Through Spark, we’re transforming how employees – where their employer has an L&G group policy – access health services and get instant access to trusted clinical support.
“As a second-generation digital healthcare provider, our focus is on combining clinical excellence, innovation, and smart technology to change and, ultimately, save lives. This partnership represents a bold leap towards a more connected. This partnership represents a bold leap toward a more connected, accessible future of workplace wellbeing.”
