"With dedicated female advisers, LifeSearch is committed to protecting women properly, just as we are."
- Laura Pomfret, Founder of Financielle

Founded in 2021, Financielle aims to improve financial confidence amongst women and spark interest in savings and investments. Over the next twelve months, it will focus on highlighting the gender protection gap and how the market can improve financial resilience across the UK.

This partnership provides Financielle’s community with access to female advisers as part of a direct pathway to protection guidance. These advisers will be able to chat informally about protection and help them find the cover that’s right for them.

“At Financielle, our members come to us during life’s biggest moments, and we empower them to take control through relatable content, tools, and a strong community. This year, we’re closing the loop by recommending trusted, tested products to our engaged community. That’s why we’ve partnered with LifeSearch – to tackle the glaring protection gaps for women. With dedicated female advisers, LifeSearch is committed to protecting women properly, just as we are,” said Laura Pomfret, Founder of Financielle.

Debbie Kennedy, CEO of LifeSearch, added: “The average age for divorce amongst women is 44 years old. Our data has shown that this stage of life is when women tend to fall behind men in terms of safeguarding their income.

“As to why this is, it could be issues with accessing the protection market, how products are built and distributed, or simply that women don’t understand why protection is needed and how it fits with their circumstances. Through this partnership, we aim to break down financial barriers, address the gender protection gap, and normalise conversations about money,” she concluded.
