Prior to this appointment, Ian Ranger served as head of claims and medical underwriting at Canada Life for over fourteen years. In this role, Ian experienced how insurance can support families during difficult times first-hand. “Every day I am mindful of my responsibilities to ensure quality is at the heart of everything we do, and I am fortunate to [have] work[ed] for a company that positively demands such focus,” he told Protection Reporter.
In the past, Ian has also worked at Invesco UK as a customer services manager and Pru Life UK as a pension review team manager.
In his new role, Ian will be working with the team to lead a range of transformation projects across Employee Benefits and Individual Protection.
