GI provider Paymentshield has made several new appointments to its sales leadership team, aimed at adding to its support for partners and helping advisers in their daily roles.
Alistair Brown (pictured above) has been promoted to head of national sales and key accounts. He will work closely with the company’s largest accounts to understand their business, including their challenges, objectives and opportunities for growth, and his focus will be on simplifying and incorporating GI more holistically into the advice process,
Meanwhile, Sophie Johnson-Fyles and Alec Goodwin have also been appointed as business development managers, working directly with authorised firms while connecting partners with the wider business.
Paymentshield says that their role will aim to help advisers and businesses to improve GI performance and make use of the knowledge available across Paymentshield's wider teams, including marketing and partner support functions.

"We’re focused on responding in both a practical and supportive way to the pressures advisers face, such as time constraints, competing priorities and a market often driven by price, with many customers still progressing through the mortgage journey without the protection they truly need," Alistair Brown said.
"It also means staying close to the wider market, listening, learning, and adapting, in order to continue addressing adviser needs and reflecting broader industry demands," he continued.
"Strong partnerships are built through collaboration, shared knowledge and a clear understanding of what advisers need to succeed," Alistair added. "By working closely with our partners and bringing together expertise from across the business, we can continue to deliver the support, insight and solutions that help advisers maximise their performance and grow their GI business."
