"Digital health innovation presents huge opportunities to improve care – reducing variation, widening access to excellence, and driving sustainability."
- Dr Matt Brown, medical director at Perci Health
Prior to this appointment, Dr Matt Brown served as deputy medical director at Medefer. Alongside this role, he works as a consultant in pain medicine at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust and honorary associate faculty at The Institute of Cancer Research.
He has over two decades of experience across both the NHS and private sectors, pioneering work in translational research and early-phase clinical trials, with a focus on improving cancer pain management and rehabilitation.
Under his leadership, Perci Health will launch new specialist clinics to address complex, long-term side effects that remain underserved by traditional healthcare, including peripheral neuropathy, cancer-induced menopause, and lymphoedema.
These services will be designed for working-age patients and employer-funded healthcare.
“I’ve spent my career supporting patients with cancer to manage pain and rehabilitate to good functional levels. Digital health innovation presents huge opportunities to improve care – reducing variation, widening access to excellence, and driving sustainability.
“I’m excited to join an organisation that shares my passion for scaling world-class cancer care. Together we’re reimagining cancer care – not just for those in treatment, but for everyone impacted by cancer. By focusing on performance medicine that meets unmet needs, we can deliver better outcomes, improve quality of life, and raise the bar for survivorship support,” he said.
Kelly McCabe, co-founder & CEO of Perci Health, added: “By combining the insight of clinicians, patients, and caregivers with purposeful technology, we’re scaling access to vital support across the UK.
“His leadership strengthens our ability to deliver safe, effective care at scale and furthers our ambition to transform survivorship. Together with partners such as Macmillan Cancer Support, we’re creating a new standard of cancer care.”
