Reassured announces new partnership with Synthesia amidst AI upgrades

Reassured has today announced a new partnership with Synthesia, in hopes of harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to improve its customer post-sale communications.

In partnership with Synthesia, Reassured will now provide new policyholders with tailored video content, explaining the next steps and reiterating the added value benefits of the cover they have bought, through a set of human-looking avatars. This content will be bespoke to the type of cover purchased and the specific insurer chosen.

This will enable Reassured to highlight specific benefits of the customer’s policy, such as virtual GP services and access to a second medical opinion. Likewise, changes to insurer services and propositions can be reflected instantly using self-service technology, so the content will always be accurate and relevant without the need for video shoots or recordings.

Responding to this partnership, which builds on Reassured’s progress as a leader in the insurtech world and complements its renowned ‘buy now’ customer platform, Daren Boys, protection portfolio distribution director at Aviva, applauded Reassured’s focus on “being at the forefront of customer service and delivery in protection.” He believes that this video content can “only serve to improve customer understanding and drive use of our wider proposition.”
