The UK's largest employers have already enrolled their staff into a workplace pension scheme, however due to the nature of auto enrolment, six times as many employers will stage in 2014 compared to this year.
The seminars will allow advisers to hear first-hand from employers and advisers who have already successfully staged employees into a workplace pension scheme, allowing them to learn from the challenges they have encountered in order to help ensure their own experience runs as smoothly as possible.
The Pensions Regulator will also explain the requirements of the new legislation to ensure employers become compliant and the roles of both advisers and providers in helping with the process.
Robert Cochran, Pensions Expert at Scottish Widows said:
"With over one million workers already successfully enrolled into a workplace pension scheme through the UK's largest organisations, the next step in the auto enrolment journey is to engage with the smaller employer population who do not necessarily have the in-house knowledge and expertise of their larger counterparts.
"We are reaching out to advisers and employers in a way that provides unique insight. So far this year we have helped over 200 companies work their way through auto enrolment and these seminars will provide an opportunity to share best practice from that experience."
The roadshows will be running across the country, starting on the 10th October in London, with the last one taking place on the 20th November in Manchester.
