"We regularly review our products and services to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of our customers."

Aviva has added Down’s Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, and Patau Syndrome to the list of conditions covered by its Children’s Critical Illness (CI) benefit.
Furthermore, Aviva’s benefit will no longer stop following a claim. Instead, claims for children will be treated the same as those for group risk members’ spouse/partner, allowing for multiple claims if needed.
“We regularly review our products and services to ensure that they continue to meet the changing needs of our customers. We believe that these recent enhancements mean that we now offer one of the most extensive Children’s CI benefits on the market,” explained Jason Ellis, Group Protection Sales Director at Aviva.
He said: “While we sadly can’t prevent childhood illness from happening, we can be there for members and their families when they need us most.”
“Aviva’s claim assessors take time to listen to customers so that they can help tailor their support to their personal circumstances and our lump sum benefit gives the member and their family the reassurance of financial support to help cover the cost of things like childcare, travel expenses, or even a family holiday,” Jason concluded.
