Prior to this appointment, Simon Ashby served as an Active Underwriter at Verto Syndicate 2689. Over the years, he’s also worked as CEO of WTW, Managing Director at Marsh, Managing Director & Chief Underwriting Officer at Travelers, Executive Director at Johnson & Higgins Financial Services Ltd, and more.
In his new role, Simon will lead various projects & revenue growth initiatives as it looks to expand its global presence – particularly in North America. “MNK Re’s expertise in a variety of business classes combined with its focus on providing bespoke and innovative solutions to traditional and emerging risks make it well-placed for rapid growth,” he said.
