"We are talking about what you need as an adviser to get a good indication from an underwriter about the insurance options for your clients."

The tricky thing with ovarian cancer is that the symptoms of it are quite general and it can be hard to find it when it’s in the early stages of developing. Matt gives the really clear example of saying that if you have any stomach ache at all, a bit like your monthly period, that doesn’t stop, it's a good idea to go to the GP and get them to check that everything is alright.

We are talking about what you need as an adviser to get a good indication from an underwriter about the insurance options for your clients. Staging, grading, treatment and the times of diagnosis are all key in determining what options your clients will have for protection insurance. We give some insight into what you can potentially expect for life insurance, critical illness cover and income protection.
