Benenden Health appoints new chief operating officer

Benenden Health has announced the appointment of Jon Cawley as chief operating officer (COO) to drive forward its operational strategy.

Prior to this appointment, Jon Cawley served as head of claims operations at NHS Resolution. 

In the past, he’s also worked as head of claims at NFU Mutual, head of claims at Towergate Insurance, and motor claims director UK & head of UK personal lines claims at Zurich Insurance, amongst others. 

In his new role, Jon will be responsible for Benenden Health’s operational strategy for the delivery of its services to members and its member-facing teams. He will also join its senior executive team.

It feels a very natural step to move into the COO role at Benenden Health where I’m looking forward to spending time with my team, our members, and key partners,” he said.
