"Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and there’s an increasing need to help provide patients with affordable cancer care."
- Mark Stephenson, CEO of Reframe Cancer
Reframe Cancer has partnered with Benenden Health, offering access to its CQC-regulated clinical cancer services - including cancer nurse specialists for guidance during the cancer pathway.
“This is a huge partnership for Reframe Cancer, and we’re delighted to be chosen as the specialist cancer advice and navigation provider for Benenden Health’s 870k members,” said Mark Stephenson, CEO of Reframe Cancer.
Combining Benenden Health’s aim to make private healthcare accessible and Reframe Cancer’s expertise in cancer support also provides a direct solution to help the 87% of employees without a workplace Private Medical Insurance (PMI) policy.
Reframe Cancer’s CQC registration enables them to provide clinical excellence, data, evidence, and reporting as part of the cancer pathway. Reports will include patient feedback, which is gathered throughout the cancer journey.
“Cancer doesn’t discriminate, and there’s an increasing need to help provide patients with affordable cancer care. Our investment in technology also allows us to be wide-reaching, providing a clinically excellent solution that genuinely helps people,” he said.
Anne Chappell-Smith, director of sales & partnerships at Benenden Health, added: “Cancer advice services are essential because they address the holistic wellbeing needs of individuals facing a cancer diagnosis.
“Advice services have a direct impact on a person’s mental, emotional, and social needs during medical treatment. We’re looking forward to seeing the impact this has for our membership and their families.”
