Canada Life UK appoint first-ever Head of Public Policy

Canada Life UK has appointed Rebecca Gladstone as Head of Public Policy, which is a newly created role within the CEO’s office.

Prior to this appointment, Rebecca Gladstone served as Stakeholder & Public Affairs Manager for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).

She has also worked as a Director in FTI Consulting’s strategic communications practice where she acted as a financial services specialist as well as a member of the public affairs team at the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and several public policy roles within the automotive and health sectors.

Gladstone is “really pleased to join Canada Life UK at such an exciting time for the business.” She feels that Canada Life’s scale and drive to improve customer outcomes make them “perfectly placed to play a greater role in helping to shape the issues affecting consumers as they plan for their futures.”
