Prior to this appointment, Candace Steele served as Chief Compliance Officer at Coralisle Group Ltd. In the past, she’s also worked as Compliance Officer at Validus Reinsurance Ltd following several promotions from Senior Reinsurance Accountant, Principal at Bermuda Monetary Authority, and Audit Senior at Grant Thornton.
In her new role, Candace will be responsible for coordinating Canopius’ risk framework, leading the group risk function and working in collaboration with the Business Unit Chief Risk Officers (CROs) to improve its global approach to risk.
