DUAL appoints new chief risk officer amidst hiring spree

Specialist underwriting arm of Howden Group Holdings, DUAL, has appointed Caroline Stone as chief risk officer, effective immediately.

Caroline Stone’s appointment follows DUAL’s recent hiring spree, with five new cyber underwriters appointed with the hope of cementing DUAL as the MGA of choice across its existing locations.

Prior to this appointment, Stone was the chief risk and compliance officer at BGL Insurance and also worked as the head of risk and compliance at Nottingham Building Society.

In her new role at DUAL, Stone will lead DUAL UK’s risk and compliance teams and report to Richard Clapham. Stone will also join the DUAL Corporate Risks board.

Commenting on this latest appointment, Richard Clapham, DUAL UK chief executive, has said:
