"We’re targeting sustainable growth within our portfolio and right now there is a great opportunity for us to achieve that by working closely with brokers and MGAs to help them solve some of their current challenges."
- Tony Fletcher, Ecclesiastical Insurance corporate business director
The Brokerbility network includes over thirty independent brokers from across the UK, each associated for their ethical credentials, and currently controls over £400m of premiums in the insurance market.
Ecclesiastical’s takeover of the scheme took less than eight weeks, providing brokers with certainty during ‘challenging market conditions.’ The insurer has also confirmed that existing agreements will automatically move to the new scheme using the same policy number.
Commenting on the takeover, Tony Fletcher, Ecclesiastical Insurance corporate business director, has said:
“The transfer of this successful scheme to Ecclesiastical continues our drive to take on both existing schemes that have a strong track record and new schemes that have good growth potential.
“This is a really exciting time for us as a business and we’ve got ambitious plans for our growth within the schemes space. We’re targeting sustainable growth within our portfolio and right now there is a great opportunity for us to achieve that by working closely with brokers and MGAs to help them solve some of their current challenges.”
Michelle South, Brokerbility director of operations and schemes, added:
“Ecclesiastical are a very welcome addition to the Brokerbility stable. A partner with shared values and quality at the heart of everything they do which will provide our members with a truly exclusive proposition for their clients.”
