"Insurance adoption stays low because awareness is limited, renters often don’t see the value, and most policies don’t engage people since no one thinks they’ll die young."

Eleos Life has launched its digital-first Life Insurance offering for customers in the UK. This product compliments its existing Income Protection (IP) proposition, with a complete digital application.

Policy terms can be from five to 20 years, with cover amounts ranging from £5k to £250k.

Beneficiaries will be paid a lump sum upon the policyholder’s death or a terminal illness where they are given under twelve months to live.

Policyholders also gain access to digital health & lifestyle benefits, with health assessments via LiveSmart Health Check and Joe Wick’s Body Coach app providing workouts, meal plans, and a supportive community.

"Insurance adoption stays low because awareness is limited, renters often don’t see the value, and most policies don’t engage people since no one thinks they’ll die young. We launched Eleos Term Life to close these gaps: simple, transparent, and affordable protection, made relevant with health & lifestyle benefits you can use from day one, not just when the unexpected happens.

"By working through embedded and white-labelled partners, we’re making Life Insurance more accessible and meaningful for today’s families," said Kiruba Shankar Eswaran, CEO of Eleos Life (pictured).

Last month, Eleos Life launched its AI-powered digital co-pilot Theea, designed to assist customers with understanding Life Insurance without the ‘industry speak’.

"Insurance is often filled with jargon that confuses more than it helps. When people are making such an important financial decision, they deserve clear, everyday language.

"Clarity doesn’t just lead to better decisions, it drives people to act, and that’s what true protection is about," Kiruba told Protection Reporter.
