This new platform was created in partnership with brokers to ensure the functionality of the platform is a true reflection of what brokers need and is an important step in the insurer’s digital roadmap.
Prior to launch, Hiscox organised in-depth focus groups to highlight what brokers needed most from an extranet. Functions such as web chat, claims lists, standard questions on referrals, and access to underwriters were all cited as priority areas and were therefore built into the Hiscox Extranet.
Focused on efficiency, Hiscox’s Extranet has numerous benefits for brokers including the ability to get a quote within seconds and fully manage new business, mid-term adjustments, and renewals easily. PI Combined, CyberClear, and the new Office Combined will be available on this platform, and customer data can be downloaded straight onto Acturis, removing the need to re-key.
