Prior to this appointment, Todd Isaac worked in various markets, including North America, the Middle East, East Asia, the UK, and Bermuda. He joins Hiscox from Monument Re, where he was deputy chief investment officer for Europe, overseeing portfolio, construction and management selection as well as committee and board contribution for the reinsurer’s European subsidiaries.
Todd has also spent time at Blackrock, where he focused on business development for the Bermuda and UK P&C sector, Hyperion as global treasurer, Endurance as treasurer, and Zurich as vice president of investments.
Overall, Todd brings over three decades of investment and treasury experience to his new role where he will be responsible for overseeing the management of the group’s $7.1bn of assets as well ass the implementation of investment policy and portfolio management.
Reporting to Paul Cooper, he will also be in charge of the treasury and corporate finance activities in order to dynamically manage asset liability risk and portfolio liquidity.
