Suzy Esson joined Holloway Friendly in 2017 as Head of Operations, moving from Capita Life & Pensions where she’d worked for almost fifteen years. In early 2021, she was promoted to Director of Operations before taking on the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer (COO) in June 2022.
As COO, Suzy was responsible for leading IT & change functions, in addition to the successful delivery of its operating and strategic plans. “I’m incredibly excited to help lead the company to its next phase of innovation, together with operational excellence and a continued focus on our members,” she said.
Suzy took on this role while Paul Harwood stepped down as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) & Chief Risk Officer (CRO). He was succeeded by Mark Allen who’s since moved on to Foresters Friendly Society as CFO where he helps it meet the challenges of the UK Financial Services landscape whilst retaining its strong fraternal society heritage.
Today, she was appointed as Holloway Friendly’s new Executive Director of the Board.
