HSBC Life (UK) has launched its new protection adviser support team and appointed three new members to its business development manager (BDM) team to improve national reach.
Advisers will now receive faster replies via phone or email from HSBC Life’s specialist team on applications in progress, underwriting, commission, policy updates, and system support.
Last year, HSBC Life UK averaged 19 days for settling life claims - which reduced to 13 days in Q1 2025 following the introduction of a digital medical report provider - with 67% of claimants receiving a decision within 24 hours.
For Critical Illness (CI) claims, the average turnaround time was 41 days in 2024 - reducing to 32 days in Q1 2025.
