"We look forward to continuing to work closely with Trinity to support the Armed Forces community with the expert, human-first protection they deserve."

Last year, LifeSearch partnered with specialist military insurer Trinity to offer veterans (not serving members) access to Life Insurance, Critical Illness Cover (CIC), and Income Protection (IP).
The specialist insurer’s portfolio also includes Personal Accident Insurance, Kit, Contents & Personal Possessions Insurance, Military Life Insurance, and Military Travel Insurance.

The brokerage has now expanded this partnership to provide Private Medical Insurance (PMI) to veterans and the wider military community. Trinity customers will be able to secure cover for their specific needs, whether that’s online or over the phone.
To promote financial education within the veteran community, Trinity has also worked with LifeSearch to produce dedicated protection guides. As one of the few specialist insurers serving the Armed Forces, Trinity is committed to working with trusted partners to give its customers access to protection products.
“Over the past year, our partnership with Trinity has helped 250 families with tailored advice that accurately reflects their lifestyles and needs. We’re proud of the impact we’ve made together so far, and we’re excited to deepen our relationship by extending access to PMI.
“We look forward to continuing to work closely with Trinity to support the Armed Forces community with the expert, human-first protection they deserve,” said Ed Axon, Chief Growth Officer at LifeSearch.
Mark Austin, CEO of Trinity, added: “The Armed Forces community can often be underserved by ‘traditional’ financial providers. There are nuances to military life, such as frequent relocations, non-standard employment histories, and unique risks, that can be difficult to communicate to insurers and underwriters.
“Add to that the close-knit nature of veteran communities, where trust and reputation matter hugely, and it becomes clear why a different, more personalised approach is needed. Expanding this partnership to include PMI is a natural next step, and one that will help us continue delivering the tailored services this community deserves.”
