Prior to this appointment, Alan Thomas served as CEO UK of Simply Business following multiple promotions from Chief Commercial Officer. In the past, he’s also worked as Sales Director at Hiscox following several promotions from Regional Manager for London Arts & Private Clients, and Senior Commercial Underwriter at Royal & Sun Alliance where he began his career in Financial Services.
In his new role, Alan will succeed Paul Williams who will remain a Non-Executive Director (NED) at the company – John Woosey, Founder & Managing Director of Ripe Insurance, will also become a NED to continue supporting the business.
