"We hope to hear from as many different voices as possible and your views do make a difference."

The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has called on the mortgage industry to complete a short survey exploring approaches to protection, tools used by advisers, the impact of Consumer Duty, and insurers’ service levels.
Advisers don’t need to be AMI members to complete the survey.

The industry body, alongside its sponsors Legal & General (L&G) and Royal London, will share key findings during a launch event on the 5th November 2024.
“The AMI Protection Viewpoint Report has established itself as the most far-reaching insight into the protection market, showing just how brokers and the public interact with the industry,” explained Andrew Montlake, Chairman of the AMI Board.
He said: “In previous years it has highlighted a whole range of trends, challenges, and food for thought that have directly influenced the processes and decision-making of many firms within the industry.
“Protection remains one of the most important areas of growth, especially in a post-Consumer Duty world, and broker insight has proved invaluable to ensuring that the sector remains relevant and continues to move forward and adapt to the needs of consumers,” Andrew concluded.
