"This is just the start; our panel continues to expand, and we continue to attract attention from insurers and carriers looking for a reliable and innovative distribution partner."
- Geoff Hall, Chairman of Berkeley Alexander
Integra Insurance Solutions and Ark have joined Berkeley Alexander’s household panel, which already has a broad selection for both standard and non-standard insurance including insurers from company markets such as Covea, AXA, Ageas, Allianz, and Aviva.
Ark is launching on Berkeley Alexander’s panel with two products underwritten by New India Assurance. Ark Home Silver is a bedroom-rated policy with notional sums insured up to £1mn and contents up to £100k, and Ark Home Guard offers up to £650k buildings cover and £65k of contents.
Integra’s products, underwritten by Accredited Insurance (Europe) Ltd, are Integra Nidus and Integra Nidus Plus. The former is a sum insured product delivering up to £50k contents, whilst the latter is a bedroom-rated policy offering up to £1mn buildings cover and up to £75k of contents.
“This is a real coup for Berkeley Alexander, at a time when some providers are struggling as a result of the capacity crunch. Working with MGAs in addition to our broad panel of company market insurers means we can maintain our nimble approach – expanding our offering to deliver more choice to intermediaries and securing capacity opportunities where others can’t,” explained Geoff Hall, Chairman of Berkeley Alexander.
He said: “Our approach on household has always been to provide a panel that allows brokers to advise based primarily on product rather than just on price and have a value-led, outcome-driven conversation with their customers.
“This is just the start; our panel continues to expand, and we continue to attract attention from insurers and carriers looking for a reliable and innovative distribution partner,” Geoff concluded.
