"It’s an exciting time for our protection business, as we continue to expand and bring more exceptional talent into the organisation."
- Ryan Griffin, Director of Protection at OneFamily

Prior to this appointment, Colette Ward served as a High-Net-Worth Underwriter at AIG Life which has recently been acquired by Aviva. Over the years, she’s also worked as a Strategy Development Underwriter at Aegon, Post Issue Sampling & Development Underwriter at Royal London following several promotions from Underwriter, and Claims Assessor at Aegon UK following a promotion from Claims Administrator where she began her career in Financial Services.

In her new role, Colette will drive the organisation’s growth strategy, with a particular focus on enhancing underwriting capabilities. She will work closely with Alison Warburton who joined OneFamily as Underwriting Philosophy Manager earlier this year. Both Colette and Alison report directly to Jonathan Boucher, who leads the underwriting team.

OneFamily believes Colette’s experience and leadership will be invaluable as the group, which includes Life Insurance & Critical Illness (CI), continues to expand its services.

I’d like to welcome Colette and I look forward to working alongside her and the rest of our underwriting team as we continue to grow within the protection market.”
