The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has announced five appointments to its Board. Clare Beardmore, director of mortgage club & distribution at Legal & General (L&G) has been re-elected in the club constituency, alongside Tim Wheeldon, CEO of Fluent Money, for the Association of Financial Brokers (AFB) constituency.
Toni Smith, network distribution director at Sesame Network, and Helen Martin, chief risk officer at LSL Financial Services, have been newly elected to the network constituency, and Jason Berry, group sales director at Crystal FS, to the regional constituency.
These positions are elected on a rolling basis, typically for three-year terms, with existing members eligible for re-election.
“This process ensures that our membership continues to feel confident in its representation. I would like to thank all those who stood for election, reinforcing the importance of a transparent and democratic process.
“The AMI Board also extends its gratitude to outgoing members for their dedicated service, Ray Boulger and Steve Harris, who are stepping down after 23 and 3 years, respectively. With a demanding regulatory landscape ahead, AMI remains strongly positioned to promote and protect the mortgage advice community,” said Stephanie Charman, CEO of the AMI.
