With the departure of long-standing members Guy Jones, director at Berwick Devoil Healthcare Ltd, and Alan Mulligan, client director at Partners&, the Association of Medical Insurers & Intermediaries (amii) has appointed two new members to its executive committee.
Lucy Pierce currently serves as commercial director at Brown & Brown Health & Employee Benefits. In the past, she’s worked as commercial director at advo group, previously head of sales & development, and head of employee benefits, as well as SME team supervisor for healthcare at Enrich Reward Ltd.
Anders Lewis (pictured) is also joining the executive committee. He was recently promoted to corporate consulting client team lead at Gallagher. Ander has over 20 years of experience in Financial Services, working at Brunel Employee Benefits, and Benefex, amongst others.
The committee plays an important role in deciding amii’s strategic direction, developing member services, and driving industry-wide initiatives to enhance healthcare provision across the UK.
“I’m thrilled to have Lucy and Anders join the executive committee, whose combined years of industry expertise will no doubt be extremely useful as we continue to support our members and advance the healthcare insurance sector,” said Dave Middleton, executive chair of amii.
He went on to thank departing members for the “tremendous impact they’ve had on amii throughout their time with us. They’ve helped shape who we are today, and their contributions to our strategic initiatives and member services have been outstanding.”
