"We know some of the biggest concerns people have about their health is accessing appointments when they need them, and sometimes it’s really hard to do that while juggling other commitments."
- Richard Washington, Interim General Manager at Bupa UK Insurance

Bupa’s silver tier subscription service follows the launch of its GP subscription service – the bronze tier in Bupa’s Well+ portfolio - in June. Alongside access to digital GP & nurse appointments, customers with Bupa Well+ Silver will be able to book digital consultations with physiotherapists and mental health specialists, starting from £20 per month.

Customers will also be able to use digital wellness services such as gym classes and wellbeing programmes. This offers people who aren’t covered by Bupa’s insurance to access some of the most in-demand health & wellbeing services provided by Blua, digital healthcare from Bupa.

Bupa has also included: up to six 1hr counselling sessions per year, up to eight 1hr Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) sessions per year, up to 2hrs of support to increase motivation and commitment to lifestyle changes per year, and up to six online appointments with a physiotherapist for musculoskeletal (MSK) conditions per year.

Bupa Well+ Silver is available for individuals, couples, or families so that households can choose the best subscription for their needs. Family subscriptions provide digital GP access for up to four children, that the subscription holder is responsible for (appointments are available from 6am to 10pm weekdays & 8am to 8pm on weekends), aged 24 or below. Children under the age of 16 can only use the digital GP appointments listed, and the subscription older or legal guardian of the child will need to book appointments for them.

“Our Bupa Well+ subscription service aims to make access to health & wellbeing services more accessible and affordable. We know some of the biggest concerns people have about their health is accessing appointments when they need them, and sometimes it’s really hard to do that while juggling other commitments,” explained Richard Washington, Interim General Manager at Bupa UK Insurance.

“We hope that giving people the option to book these around their busy schedules will allow them to get the health & wellbeing services they need, whether that’s with a GP, mental health specialist, or physiotherapist,” he concluded.
