Carla Brown re-elected as Personal Finance Society president

Today, the Personal Finance Society (PFS) has announced the reappointment of Carla Brown as president, as well as the appointment of Kate Gannon as vice president.

Carla Brown, CEO of Oakmere Wealth Management, has served on the Personal Finance Society (PFS) board since July 2023. She supported its recent talent and development initiatives, including £1mn investment into the PFS Pathway to the Profession programme.

She was re-elected as president at the most recent PFS board meeting: “I remain deeply committed to supporting members in upholding the highest professional standards and building public trust in the financial planning profession.” 

Kate Gannon, founder of Themis Wealth Management, has also been appointed as vice president. “I’m delighted to take up the role, working alongside my esteemed colleagues to serve our membership,” she said. 

Both Carla and Kate are eligible for re-election in 2026.
