Chris Carroll has been appointed as CEO for Bupa Global, India & UK, subject to regulatory approval. He will replace Carlos Jaureguizar as of the 1st January 2026.
Prior to this appointment, Chris served as CEO of Bupa UK, moving from managing director of its health insurance business in Australia. Richard Washington, who currently operates as medical & healthcare director for Bupa, will succeed him, subject to regulatory approval.

Having held the role of CEO for Bupa Global, India & UK since 2021, Carlos moves to CEO for Bupa’s Europe & Latin America (ELA) market, subject to regulatory approval.
