- Latinka Pilipovic, incoming chief financial officer at Flood Re
Latinka Pilipovic has been appointed as chief financial officer (CFO) at Flood Re, subject to regulatory approvals. This appointment coincides with the promotions of Dan Byrne to chief commercial officer (CCO) and Max Bero to chief operating officer (COO).
“Having worked in several financial institutions, I’m looking forward to bringing fresh insight and helping steer the organisation through the transformative time that lies ahead,” she said.
Prior to this appointment, Latinka served as CFO at Guardian Financial Services (Guardian), and has held several senior leadership roles at Foresters Financial, Legal & General (L&G), and Aviva, amongst others.
Perry Thomas, CEO of Flood Re, added: “These appointments reflect our desire to have a strong and knowledgeable executive team in place as we look to address the many challenges and opportunities presented by the impacts of climate change ahead of our exit from the market in 2039.
“Our focus is to ensure the Flood Re scheme continues to deliver on our core mission to provide accessible and affordable flood insurance in the UK, to continue to drive forward on Build Back Better, and promote the take-up of property flood resilience measures.”
