Former AIG UK financial institutions manager returns to Chubb

Chubb has today announced Carene Madden as financial lines manager for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa (UKISA), effective in the second quarter of 2023.

Prior to this appointment, Carene Madden served as AIG UK financial institutions manager for the last three years. She has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, primarily focused on financial lines.

As Chubb financial lines manager, Madden will be responsible for managing and developing the growth of Chubb’s financial lines business in its UKISA region. Based in London, Madden will report to Chubb UKISA property and casualty chief underwriting officer Hilda Toh.

Madden will succeed Janet Edey, who is transitioning to her previous role as management liability manager for UKISA on a temporary basis.Chubb has today announced Carene Madden as financial lines manager for the UK, Ireland, and South Africa (UKISA), effective in the second quarter of 2023. 

Commenting on the appointment, Hilda Toh, Chubb UKISA property and casualty chief underwriting officer, has said:
