As April marks World Autism Acceptance Month and April 2nd saw UN World Autism Awareness Day 2026, the Group for Autism, Insurance, Investment & Neurodiversity (GAIN) has launched the 'My Place in this World' campaign, designed to celebrate the stories, skills, and contributions of neurodivergent professionals.
The campaign aims to provide a platform that demonstrates the many ways in which neurodivergent individuals find their place and make a meaningful impact across insurance and investment.
These impactful stories will explore how diversity of thought, neurodivergent talents, and life experiences have shaped careers.
GAIN will feature video stories, podcasts, social media highlights, and longer reflections in newsletters and blogs, alongside a dedicated campaign landing page, offering a space for learning and connection.
The 'My Place in this World' campaign remains open to stories from neurodivergent professionals and allies across insurance and investment.
"Everyone has a place, a contribution, and a story," said Kathryn Stringer, chief executive of GAIN. "'My Place in this World' is about giving people the space to be seen and heard, to share how their unique perspectives shape the work they do, the teams they lead, and the broader industry. It’s about showing that difference is a strength, not just at work, but in life.
"By sharing these stories, we hope to inspire others to find their place, feel valued, and recognise the unique skills they bring. GAIN isn’t just a network, it’s a community that supports neurodivergent talent, fosters belonging, and helps people thrive both professionally and personally."
