"We’re still in the embryonic stage of building our protection team. But the ambition is clear: to clear a team of the very best protection advisers."
- Ying Tan, CEO of Habito
Prior to this appointment, Britney Trussler (pictured) served as a protection manager at Dynamo, previously senior protection consultant. She’s worked at Dynamo for almost seven years.
Britney is one of several hires, with Habito looking to improve its offering across protection, mortgage advice, and compliance.
As part of its growth strategy, Habito has also appointed Karen Vandepeear to support its compliance team. She joins Habito from the Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) and First Mortgage.
“Joining Habito at such a pivotal stage is an incredible opportunity. I’m passionate about helping people make informed, confident choices when it comes to protecting what matters most. With Habito’s technology, values, and ambition, we’ve got everything we need to build something extraordinary – and I’m thrilled to be part of it,” said Britney.
Ying Tan, CEO of Habito, added: “We’re still in the embryonic stage of building our protection team. But the ambition is clear: to clear a team of the very best protection advisers, and Britney is exactly that. She’s smart, driven, and genuinely cares about helping customers feel confident and covered.
“I couldn’t be happier having her onboard as we scale. And we’re actively looking to bring in more brilliant protection and mortgage advisers to join this next phase of growth.”
