Whole-of-health solution provider, Spectrum.Life has announced that it has appointed Ian Ranger as Head of Insurance for the UK and Ireland.
Ranger has over 17 years of experience in the protection market, including his role at Canada Life where he was part of a leadership team that grew the Group Employee Benefits Business into one of the largest market players, protecting millions of employees and their families
He also held a position at MetLife, playing a transformational role in developing Group Income Protection offerings and fostering commercial partnerships with wellbeing providers, underscoring the critical role of health and wellbeing services in the Protection market.
Ranger (pictured) will be primarily responsible for developing, managing and expanding the insurance client base in the UK and Ireland. His new role will see him drive insurers' strategic priorities, foster strong relationships with key industry stakeholders and steer the company’s growth and development of the insurance channel across the UK and Ireland while building and enhancing strategic partnerships with insurers, intermediaries, and wellbeing providers to deliver impactful and innovative solutions.
