"Advisers often find that their clients have complex protection needs and quote research is a critical part of the business and sales process."

The integration enables advisers to streamline the process of finding the right protection products for clients by using pre-populated client data in the quote request, as well as taking quote and product information back into Intelligent Office.

Advisers will be able to compare protection needs across multiple products including life, critical illness, business protection, whole of life and income protection insurance, as well as multi-benefit and single-benefit products in a single view.

Through SolutionBuilder, advisers will also receive an instant underwriting decision in principal and can retain quote data for up to 90 days.

Nick Eatock, Intelliflo’s Executive Chairman, commented: “Advisers often find that their clients have complex protection needs and quote research is a critical part of the business and sales process. SolutionBuilder provides a faster and more efficient way of reviewing a client’s protection needs and how they can be packaged together. With integrated access to SolutionBuilder, iO users have increased efficiency in the research of suitable products and the associated cost; data is automatically transferred across the two systems meaning the whole process is streamlined even further.”

Paul Yates, Product Strategy Director at iPipeline, added: “Advisers rarely produce one protection insurance comparison for clients. With SolutionBuilder advisers can rapidly model and shape a range of protection solutions, on one screen, in an instant, allowing them to identify the right solution for their clients with ease. SolutionBuilder comes into its own when advisers quote multi-benefit. Reflecting the fact that clients rarely have one protection need, 12% of SoultionBuilder transactions are now written on a multi-benefit basis.”
