L&G’s retail business has appointed Donna Cowell to the newly created role of head of reinsurance for UK protection.
Donna will work across both L&G’s retail and group protection businesses to deliver a joined up and effective reinsurance strategy.
She will play a key role in developing L&G’s protection strategy, collaborating with reinsurers to deliver greater value for customers by leveraging the firm’s risk management, distribution quality, robust data and market experience.
As a qualified actuary, Donna brings almost 25 years of experience in financial services. She joins L&G from Willis Towers Watson, where she was a director in its life insurance consulting and technology division, specialising in protection and reinsurance.
