L&G says the hire is part of its strategy to grow business in this sector and continue to improve processes for its brokers.
Darren joined Legal & General in 2016 as an insurance account manager, where he managed key broker and partner relationships within the broker channel. In his new role, Darren will be responsible for developing the broker GI proposition and strategy.
Darren has over 30 years’ experience in the insurance and protection markets including roles at Norwich Union, Aviva and Markerstudy Group.
