"It's a quicker journey for brokers, a smoother experience for their clients, and a new revenue opportunity too."

Mortgage Brain has announced the integration of Paymentshield into its CRM Brain platform.
This means that, once a mortgage application has been submitted through CRM Brain, brokers will be prompted to ask their client whether they would like help arranging home insurance.
Built on Paymentshield's API integration capability, the connection allows customer data already captured in CRM Brain to be passed across automatically, so brokers no longer need to log in to a separate system or manage the process manually.
For clients, the integration aims to create a quicker, more joined-up mortgage journey, as they can receive a home insurance quote at the point when they've just completed their mortgage application, instead of being passed to another provider or portal.

"Adding Paymentshield to CRM Brain is another step in our ongoing programme of updates, and it directly reflects what brokers have told us they need," Neil Wyatt, chief commercial officer, Mortgage Brain, said.
"By bringing home insurance quoting and referral into the platform, brokers can support clients at the point it matters most, without ever leaving the system they're already working in.
"It's a quicker journey for brokers, a smoother experience for their clients, and a new revenue opportunity too. We'll keep working with our partners to find more ways to bring this kind of integration and automation across CRM Brain."
Nasar Hussain, associate director intermediated household at Paymentshield, added: "This integration is a positive step in helping brokers access home insurance quoting more easily within their existing workflow.
"By bringing together CRM Brain and Paymentshield, we're helping to simplify the process for advisers and support a smoother experience for their clients."
