The company, which is the second biggest network in the UK, based on FSA tables, is strengthening its connections with six of the biggest names in the market: Ageas, Aviva, FriendsLife, L&G, LV= and PruProtect.

Benefits to members include a choice of top consumer brands selected from the strongest players in the protection market, targeted sales training with dedicated support to help them maximise sales and enhanced commission rates with no loaded premiums for the end client.

The Personal Touch community will not only have more choice in the proposition with whole-of-market, multi-tie or single-tie. Members will also have the opportunity to build a deeper understanding of protection products, enabling them to sell with more confidence, and win more business.

Dev Malle, Personal Touch Sales and Marketing Director, says:

“We already have a strong tradition of selling protection products. And we’re excited to be working more closely with such prestigious brands.

"We envisage that the new panel will provide an extra impetus for our members to continue to develop protection as a core offering to their clients.

"We’ve been through an extensive research process with our members and a comprehensive tender programme to develop what I believe is the strongest multi tie panel on the market with six premier protection providers.

"Every player is offering the two and four year indemnity option with Aviva offering a relatively unique three year option.

“We’re also working with our panel partners to develop models to help our members build sustainable businesses with real value, by being able to gradually move towards renewal income instead of being hooked on the indemnity drug.

"We’ve also insisted that there are no loaded premiums, which is how others try to offer enhanced commission rates to their members at the expense of the end client. It’s based on a set of core values, service and the personal approach we take within our community that lent itself to the name for the panel – INTEGRITY.

"We’re already receiving excellent feedback, not only from existing members, but potential new members who are looking to join Personal Touch.”

Martin Werth, Managing Director of Ageas, says:

“Personal Touch has been a fantastic launch partner for Ageas Protect. We’re delighted with the positive engagement we’ve achieved with all its members.

"We’ll provide Personal Touch, its members and customers with first class products; competitive terms and leading service support to enable the multi-tie to achieve its great potential.”

The new panel has been scheduled to launch in November, and members will receive an information pack to enable them to hit the ground running.

Justin Taurog, PruProtect Distribution and Marketing Director, said:

“PruProtect are excited to be selected to be a part of the new panel, particularly given the scale of Personal Touch's distribution and their high quality advisers.

"We’ll support the panel with innovative products, and an extensive face-to-face and telephone support team, to match the needs of the network.”
