I am joined by Matt Rann for this next episode, where we talk about cervical cancer. We discuss some of the common questions you can expect on an application for protection insurance, as well as some of the potential outcomes.

There are close to nine cases of cervical cancer diagnosed in the UK each day, and we talk about some of the common causes of these cancers.

We also explain a case study of a woman taking out life insurance after having cervical cancer.

Listen to the episode here: https://practical-protection.co.uk/episode-7-cervical-cancer/.

The next episode will focus on eating disorders. I will be joined again by Matt and we will discuss how eating disorders are assessed by insurers and underwriters.

If you’re listening to this as part of your work, you can claim a CPD certificate. These are now accredited by CPD UK, through our sponsor Octo Members.

Once you have listened to the episode, don’t forget to claim your certificate here: https://practical-protection.co.uk/claim-your-cpd/.

You may find that your work systems are not keen on the CPD form (it’s a Google form). Please don’t worry if that is the case. Contact me on social media or through the website and I will be able to issue the certificate directly to you.
