The Right Mortgage & Protection Network (TRM) has announced that Robin Pearson has rejoined the business as its new head of risk, effective 10th October 2025.
In his role, Pearson will oversee TRM’s risk management framework and compliance strategy. His responsibilities will cover complaints handling, acting as Data Controller, managing data protection and GDPR compliance, and maintaining the Compliance Manual. He will also supervise adviser and product risk and provide regulatory updates to the board.
Pearson previously worked at TRM as compliance manager and business development manager between 2017 and 2023. During that time, he trained and mentored 24 non-CAS advisers, implemented new management information frameworks, and served as the network’s Vulnerable Customer Champion.
Most recently, he was compliance manager at Mortgage Connect (NI) Ltd. He has also held roles at LSL Property Services, Accenture Operations, UKAR, FOS, KPMG, and Deloitte. Pearson holds the Cert SMP (Supervision & Management of People) qualification as well as CeMAP, RO1, RO5, RO7, ER1 (Equity Release), and IF7 (Healthcare Insurance). His areas of expertise include Consumer Duty implementation, training and competence, complaints oversight, AML and financial crime controls, and adviser supervision.
