RSA Insurance hires new Chief Data Officer

Today, RSA Insurance has announced the appointment of Indhira Mani as Chief Data Officer, who will play a key role in leveraging data as a differentiator across the business.

Prior to this appointment, Indhira Mani worked as Group Head of Data Transformation, Senior Vice President at Danske Bank. She’s also served as Principal Data Management Transformation, Head of Data Fabric, Technical & Sustainability at Anglo American, Senior Vice President, Data Management Technology Transformation, Strategy Delivery at Barclays UK, and Head of Transformation Change & PMO, Governance & Strategy at Social Security Scotland, amongst others.

Alongside this new role, Indhira will continue to contribute her expertise as a governing body member of the Gartner Evanta CDAO Network.

“Ensuring we build good data practices and robust data foundation empowers our partners and brokers to excel in critical areas. By leveraging accurate, comprehensive, and well-organised data, we can enhance risk assessment and underwriting processes,” explained Indhira.

She’s excited to embark on this journey with RSA Insurance and looks forward to collaborating and leading initiatives that will “shape the future of data-driven solutions in insurance.”
