Prior to this appointment, Philipp Rüede served as Head of Alternative Capital Partners & Group Managing Director at Swiss Re, previously Head of Reinsurance Capital Management. In the past, he’s also worked as a Partner for Arbillon Capital and Managing Director at CS First Boston.
In his new role, Philipp’s immediate priorities will be to drive SCOR Life & Health’s new business strategy, to protect and deliver the in-force value, and improve the cash profile of the business. He replaces Frieder Knüpling, who stepped down in July 2024.
