Prior to this appointment, Heena Sandu (pictured, left) served as a regional business development manager (BDM) at Guardian Financial Services (Guardian). In the past, she’s also worked as a business manager at Vitality and bank manager at Lloyds TSB Bank.

Katie Dennehy (pictured, right) joins from UnderwriteMe where she supported brand activity and delivered digital account management strategies. Previously, Katie has worked as a sales executive at LeadSteam, and sales manager at INSA Freedom Insurance.

Meanwhile, Jonathan Hall (pictured, centre) joined Scottish Widows in 2021, initially serving as a holistic account manager before receiving several promotions to national account manager. He moved from L&C Mortgages, where he worked as a protection expert.

“Supporting intermediaries and their customers to build greater financial resilience is at the heart of what we do, and our people are the driving force.

“Expanding the expertise and experience of our team underpins our long-term commitment to the market and I’m excited to bring Heena, Katie, and Jonathan on board to help us continue innovating,” said Catherine Trimble, head of distribution (protection) at Scottish Widows.
