To celebrate the launch, Zurich will be planting seagrass around the UK coastline for every group income protection and group life policy placed via the Zurich Access Portal for SME customers. This initiative is in partnership with the Marine Conservation Society, allowing Zurich customers to become a part of the largest seagrass recovery operation in England, saving vital seabed habitats.
The insurer’s user-friendly Access Portal offers instant online quotes and an intuitive user experience for SME customers, with no requirement to re-enter information for alternative quote options. Intermediaries can also view, share and manage both their pipeline and portfolio of customers all in one place.
Furthermore, Zurich’s Access Portal supports e-Signature enabled processes including proposal forms, trust documentation, and direct debit mandates. Customer signatures can even be submitted via their mobile, enabling swift responses.
SME customers who purchase policies via the portal will also benefit from comprehensive support services, including an employee assistance programme, access to counselling, return to work help, and rehabilitation for those absent through illness.
Members are also given virtual GPs health and wellbeing assistance through a number of tools including the My Healthy Advantage and Thrive apps.
Commenting on the launch, Cindy Warden, Head of Zurich Corporate Risk, has said:
“We’re excited to launch our new SME portal for intermediaries. We’ve listened to what they’ve told us they expect from a portal and have built ours with this feedback in mind. It is easy to use and offers simple eligibility criteria and an intuitive user experience designed to help intermediaries process SME business quickly and efficiently.”
