Sphere Assured has announced the appointment of Wahab Raja as director of protection, a new position created in response to recent growth and partnerships across wealth, legal and accountancy.
Wahab has over 15 years' experience in the UK protection market, with both insurers and brokers. His most recent role was head of protection at WillU, and before this he spent almost 10 years as a business consultant at Vitality.
Wahab will play a key role in fulfilling Sphere’s aims over the coming 12 months to expand its team nationally and grow its footprint in London, Manchester and Yorkshire. He is the first of several planned senior appointments.
