Prior to this appointment, Ali Law served as the Managing Director, IT & Digital Transformation at Hanya Partners Limited. He’s also worked as Group Head of Digital Transformation at Royal London after multiple promotions from Chief Information Officer (CIO), Business & Digital Transformation. With over thirty years of experience in digital transformation, Ali also has expertise in insurance, retail, and corporate banking.
In his new role, Ali will lead The Exeter’s IT Department and sit on the Executive Committee.
Toby Bainbridge will join The Exeter as Head of Insurance Solutions on the 1st April, reporting to Michael Payne. Prior to this appointment, Toby served as Director of Protection at LV after he was promoted from Head of Strategy. He’s also worked at Royal London, Legal & General, and Munich Re during his career – which spans over twenty-five years.
His newly created role will combine The Exeter’s existing Underwriting Philosophy, Data, Claims Philosophy, and Reinsurance teams, to provide greater alignment and strategic direction under both his own and Michael Payne’s leadership.
