Tim Weaver appointed as The Exeter’s Head of Customer Experience for Claims

The Exeter has today announced the appointment of Tim Weaver as Head of Customer Experience for Claims.

In January 2023, Tim Weaver joined The Exeter as Head of Operational Planning & Workflow, moving from LV= where he served as Head of Operational Planning. Previously, Tim has also worked as Operational Planning & MI Manager at Legal & General (L&G).

In his new role, Tim will lead the team through ongoing transformational change, focusing on further enhancements to customer experience. He hopes to achieve these feats by complementing the expertise of The Exeter’s claims team with further investment in technology – this is of increasing importance given the ongoing demand for Income Protection (IP) claims assessors across the industry.

Tim said he’s “excited to be working closely with such an experienced and dedicated team whose focus on delivering the best possible outcomes for our members is second to none.”

“I’m delighted to see Tim take up this new role as we continue to focus on offering the best possible service experiences to our members and advisers – particularly at the point of claim Tim’s experience of leading teams through change will be invaluable in enabling our team to deliver key strategic projects whilst ensuring that we continue to support those members who make a claim on their policies,” added Claire Hird, Customer Service Director at The Exeter.
